Am I too small or are you too fat?

I have some nail pics for you which I will add in a minute. First of all I have to have a little rant.

I went out for a meal last night with my wonderful husband. We stopped off at the local pub for a pre meal drink, where I bumped into an old friend.

In the last year, I have lost nearly two stone in weight and have never been more confident and happy. It puzzled me when he said hi, and went on about how I was too skinny. Now I have worked hard, been eating healthily and exercising. I am a healthy weight for my height and build. It makes me wonder what he would say if I commented on how fat he was looking. This really insulted me! Ok, he likes larger women, but I am not his wife so why comment like that! I wish people would stop poking their nose in and interfering. The next time I see this guy, I WILL be informing him that he has put on too much weight as I don't really like fat men. LOL!

Lillies

Just a little sketch I did of some lillies I had. I loved the flow of the petals and hope to develop this into a nail design soon.

I really must get better at updating. I have been very busy working on a few really exciting things. Here is a pic which is the result of some acrylic play time. I'm hoping to develop a few of these designs over the coming weeks.

New nails

I spent last night finally doing my own nails. I used my fantasy moulds of course, then applied the red, orange and hologram glitter.

New Design

I have been working on some new designs. My latest is this glittery nail with black swirls. I hope to develop this design further after I have finished all my neon work. I always get a bit carried away and need to focus on one thing until it is actually finished!

Welcome!

I have finally decided that it is now time that I have a blog, as I have so much to say and pictures to share. I am intending to update every day or so, with my new nail creations and the odd rant or two.

Being the school holidays, it is not always easy to fit nail designing in with cooking dinner, tidying up, hoovering, mopping up 'accidents' made by my two year old etc! However, I did manage to spend some time today working on some new acrylic tips. In the last few weeks, I have noticed an influx of 18-20 somethings asking for neon nails, so that is what I am working on right now.

I am so happy that now, after such a long wait, my fantasy nail forms are now here, ready and waiting. These forms are 10cm long and enable nail techs to sculpt fantasy nails, pre design tips or create false nail beds. I'm looking forward to sharing some demos with you in the coming weeks and months. I welcome any comments, good or bad and most of all, I hope you enjoy!
